WESTONE SENTENCING (Proposed)
Grades of Offense
FELONY – Dismissal from WestOne
MISDEMEANOR – Suspension of owner for 2 games and/or suspension of best player for 10 games. “Best player” to be determined by commissioner.
PETTY MISDEMEANOR – Suspension of player for 3 games. Player to be determined by commissioner.
VIOLATION – Suspension of player for 1 game. Player to be determined by commissioner.
Offenses
1. CPU Opponents – Stat violations
(a) An owner who passes from 351-380 yards with one Quarterback and/or rushes for 151-170 yards with one Runningback and/or accumulates 151-170 receiving yards against a CPU opponent in one game shall be subject to sentencing under 1(a). A violation of 1(a) is a VIOLATION.
(b) An owner who passes for or more than 381 yards with one Quarterback and/or rushes for or more than 171 yards with one Runningback and/or accumulates 171 or more receiving yards against a CPU opponent in one game shall be subject to sentencing under 1(b). A violation of 1(b) is a PETTY MISDEMEANOR.
(c) An owner who has been found to be in violation of 1(b) two or more times for one Madden Cycle shall be in violation of 1(c). A violation of 1(c) is a MISDEMEANOR.
2. Human Opponents – Stat Violations
(a) An owner who “runs up the score” for one game shall be in violation of 2(a). A violation of 2(a) is a PETTY MISDEMEANOR. The Commissioner shall determine whether an owner “ran up the score.”
(b) An owner who “runs up the score” for two or more games shall be in violation of 2(b). A violation of 2(b) shall be, in the discretion of the Commissioner, a MISDEMEANOR or FELONY. The Commissioner shall determine whether an owner “ran up the score.”
3. Quitting
(a) An owner who knowingly and intentionally quits a game before the completion of the game, but acknowledges to the commissioner that he quit the game purposefully, shall be in violation of 3(a). A violation of 3(a) is a MISDEMEANOR.
(b) An owner who knowing and intentionally quits a game before the completion of the game and whom does not admit to quitting the game shall be in violation of 3(b). A violation of 3(b) is a FELONY. A determination as to whether an owner knowingly and intentionally quit a game shall be made by the commissioner.
(c) An owner who knowingly and intentionally quits a game versus the CPU before the completion of the game without permission from the commissioner or without advising the commissioner within a reasonable time shall be in violation of 3(c). A violation of 3(c) is a PETTY MISDEMEANOR.
4.4th Down Rules
(a) A rookie owner (1st SEASON of WestOne Madden, not cycle) who violates the 4th down rules shall be in violation of 4(a). A violation of 4(a) is a VIOLATION. If a person is found to have KNOWINGLY AND INTENTIONALLY violated the 4th down rules, sentencing under 4(a) shall increase to a FELONY.
(b) A veteran owner (2nd season or more of WestOne) who violates the 4th down rules for the first time in a Madden Cycle shall be in violation of 4(b). A violation of 4(b) is a MISDEMEANOR.
(c) Any owner who violates the 4th down rules three or more times in a Madden Cycle shall be in violation of 4(c). A violation of 4(c) is a FELONY.
5. No Huddle Rules
(a) Any owner who violates the No Huddle Rules in one game shall be in violation of 5(a). A violation of 5(a) is a PETTY MISDEMEANOR.
(b) Any owner who violates the No Huddle Rules in two or more games shall be in violation of 5(b) is a MISDEMEANOR.
6. Manually Moving Players
(a) A rookie owner who knowingly and intentionally moves a player for one game shall be in violation of 6(a). A violation of 6(a) is a VIOLATION.
(b) A veteran owner who knowingly and intentionally moves a player for one game in a Madden cycle shall be in violation of 6(b). A violation of 6(b) is a PETTY MISDMEANOR.
(c) A veteran owner who knowingly and intentionally moves a player for two or more games in a Madden cycle shall be in violation of 6(c). A violation of 6(c) is a MISDEMEANOR.
(d) A veteran or rookie owner who knowingly and intentionally moves a player to set up a “nano blitz” for one game in a Madden cycle shall be in violation of 6(d). A violation of 6(d) is a MISDEMEANOR. A determination as to whether an owner knowingly and intentionally set up a Nano Blitz shall be made by the commissioner.
(e) A veteran or rookie owner who knowingly and intentionally moves a player to set up a “nano blitz” for two or more games in a Madden cycle shall be in violation of 6(e). A violation of 6(e) is a FELONY. A determination as to whether an owner knowingly and intentionally set up a Nano Blitz shall be made by the commissioner.
